The Minister of Culture, Rima Abdul Malak, in agreement with Jérôme Baloge, mayor of Niort and president of the agglomeration community of Niortais, and Alain Rousset, president of the Region Nouvelle-Aquitaine, gives its approval for the appointment of Florence Henaut to the direction of the scene of current music-SMAC, Le Camji, according to the proposal of the jury meeting on September 29, 2022 in Niort.
After university studies Florence Henaut held many responsibilities in the field of contemporary music and in particular at the Chapeau Factory (Rambouillet), the Café de la Plage (Maurepas) and La Batterie (Guyancourt). She has held the positions of receptionist, productions, artist residencies and cultural action. She was also co-manager of the Polo Pub (Rambouillet). Since 2020, Florence Henaut has been in charge of Radio Pulsar, an associative radio station located in Poitiers where she ensures the monitoring and management of radio’s antenna, projects and partnerships.
Florence Henaut proposes a project that is part of the continuation of the activities of the association while giving them a new impetus, with a strengthening of mediation actions and arts and cultural education. His project stood out through territorial and citizen engagement, taking into account the issues of ecological transition.
Florence Henaut will take up her duties on January 2, 2023, succeeding Lionel Rogeon who led CAMJI until August 31, 2021. The Minister welcomes his work in the service of the development of a cultural structure now recognized at the national level as an essential place of territorial cooperation.
