Alexandre Rochon’s project for L'Epicerie Moderne aims to strengthen the current dynamic in terms of experimentation and creative support. It offers an assertive artistic program reflecting the diversity of aesthetics and promoting hybridization. It also wants to develop partnerships with local actors and mediation actions that contribute to strengthen the influence of the venue. Its project is participatory and open to the territory, involving regional artists and populations.

Alexandre Rochon will take up his duties on July 1, 2021. He will succeed François Jolivet who directed L'Epicerie Moderne from 2017 to 2020 and, by accompanying the development of the artistic and cultural project of the place, led him to obtain the SMAC label in 2018.
