Audrey Azoulay, Minister of Culture and Communication, will visit Florence (Italy) on 30 and 31 March 2017 for the G7 Culture Summit. This first meeting of G7 Ministers of Culture will take place within the framework of the Italian G7 Presidency and will lead to the adoption of a declaration on the protection of cultural heritage.

A few days after the unanimous adoption by the United Nations Security Council of the resolution of France and Italy on the protection of cultural heritage in situations of armed conflict and the International Donors' Conference for the launch of theAlliance for the Protection of Heritage in Armed Conflict (ALIPH) at the Louvre, this meeting is a new opportunity for the Minister to continue the mobilization of the international community around these major issues that focus on the protection of cultural heritage, the true common good of humanity, and intercultural dialogue.
