“Accessible Exhibits and Tours” is a free guide published by the Ministry of Culture and Communication. It is aimed at all those involved, whether they are project owners or project managers, responsible for the design of permanent or temporary exhibitions as well as visits to all types of institutions and cultural sites: museums, monuments, libraries, heritage interpretation and animation centre, archaeological or natural site, etc.

The book aims to provide methodological keys to curators, curators, architects and scenographers, programmers, heads of public services and coordinators of mediation projects, disability correspondents in institutions, etc. It identifies a number of concrete cases that illustrate how furniture, lighting, graphics and signage, objects on display, and digital and multimedia devices constitute, in a multisensory approach, successful accessibility.

The collection Culture and disability includes a first volume of general scope (2007), a second dedicated to live performance (2008), and a third (2010) dedicated to the reception of people with learning disabilities in cultural places.
