The Ministry’s international cultural activity will be divided into three main areas:
- europe because the European challenge is a cultural challenge: artists must be the spearheads of refoundation;
- the language at the heart of the concerns of the Ministry of Culture, with the teaching of French, the organization of intellectual exchanges within the French cultural network abroad and translation, which represents a medium of influence for our culture (French is the second most translated language in the world);
- our know-how with support for the export of French works and content, as well as its expertise in cultural policy and cultural and creative industries.
The Ministry of Culture will be there to bring its expertise, experience and knowledge of the French cultural fabric to the entire French network abroad. The ministry is there to foster France’s dialogue with the world.”
