Françoise Nyssen, Minister of Culture, has approved the appointment of Caroline Raffin as director of the Centre National des Arts de la Rue et de l'Espace Public (CNAREP) «Le Fourneau» in Brest.
In agreement with the City of Brest, the department of Finistère, the Brittany region, the chairman of the board of directors of the association «Le Fourneau» will appoint the new director.
Caroline Raffin is currently General Secretary of the Fourneau. It will develop a project that is in line with the action carried out with determination by this structure. In this context, it will affirm a strong desire to develop the territorial action of the CNAREP and to renew the aesthetics of art in public space.
The Minister would like to pay tribute to the founding co-directors of the Fourneau, Michèle Bosseur and Claude Morizur. They are widely recognized by the entire profession for their unwavering commitment to the development of street arts, both at the regional and national levels.
