The Journées du 1% artistique, de l'école à l'enseignement supérieur, an event to promote contemporary art in schools and universities, general and agricultural, will take place from 16 to 22 September 2017. They are part of the European Heritage Days, whose theme this year is “Youth and Heritage”.

 

For the fourth edition of these Days, schools, colleges, colleges, universities and institutions of higher education will open their doors so that visitors can reclaim the place and discover the artists and contemporary works that were created there. Throughout the week, teaching teams, students and students will offer cultural mediation actions aimed at their peers and the general public. Exhibitions, meetings, routes around works, will be set up, student achievements will create as many moments of appreciation and transmission of this unique corpus of works from the 1% artistic.

 

Launched in 2014, this event is led by the Ministries of Culture, National Education, Higher Education, Research and Innovation, as well as Agriculture and Food, in connection with the Canopé Network, the association Art+University+Culture and local authorities. These Days contribute to the achievement of the major training objectives of the artistic and cultural education path of the student. Indeed, the actions carried out in this context invite them to cultivate their sensitivity and curiosity, to develop their knowledge and promote the encounter with works and artists.
