An actor, playwright, theatre and opera director, as well as a novelist and a translator of German literature, Bruno Bayen has served with great intelligence, audacity and originality the classics of the repertoire and the great authors of our time.

He was barely over 20 when he founded his company The Theatre Factory, which will then be associated with Attic of Toulouse,  National Drama Centre, alongside Maurice Sarrazin.

He leaves a singular and sensitive work to the image of his journey as a free man.

Audrey Azoulay, Minister of Culture and Communication, extends her sincere condolences to her family, loved ones and all her friends.
