The Minister of Culture and Communication, Audrey Azoulay, welcomes the transposition in a decree that will be published on July 14 in the Official Journal of the agreement on the unemployment insurance scheme of intermittent artists and technicians of the show signed on April 28.

This agreement is historic.

It marks the success of an unprecedented negotiation that made it possible to sign a fair, balanced protocol and creator of new rights, securing the artists and technicians of the show, who make the wealth of creation in France. It is also a responsible agreement that generates real savings.

It will enter into force on 1er August, as the government had promised.

In parallel, a 90 million euro Fund for Sustainable Employment in Entertainment (FOPEPS) will be set up in the autumn to promote sustainable employment in the entertainment sector, notably by supporting the creation of permanent employment contracts and the conclusion of long-term contracts.
