Aurélie Filippetti, Minister of Culture and Communication, congratulates Guillaume Gallienne, who was awarded the Valois d'Or and the Valois du public at the sixth Angoulême Francophone Film Festival, for his film “Les Garçons et Guillaume, à table!”

The member of the Comédie française, who has made a feature film for the first time, signs a formidable adaptation, an irresistible humour and an undeniable tenderness, of his show in which he triumphed in 2010 at the Théâtre de l'Athénée - Louis Jouvet.

Aurélie Filippetti, Minister of Culture and Communication wishes Guillaume Gallienne that his film will meet, during its release on November 20, the very large audiences he has already conquered on stage and in festivals.

The Minister also sends her warmest congratulations to the other French laureates distinguished by the jury of the Festival: Sara Forestier, Valois of the best actress for «Suzanne» by Katell Quillévéré; Isabelle Czajka, Valois of the direction for «La Vie domestique» and Hugo Frassetto, Valois René Laloux of the short film for «Braise».

The Minister, who attended the opening of the Festival du Film Francophone d'Angoulême on August 23, wishes to thank the entire management team of the Festival, Marie-France Brière, Dominique Besnehard and Patrick Mardikian, for their investments in francophone works.
