Jean Garretto was one of the most familiar voices on our radio. It was the voice of «L'oreille en coin», the hugely popular program he launched on France Inter in 1975 with Pierre Codou, and which he continued to produce and animate for twenty years with the same freshness.

Then, promoted «Persona... Gratter» but more and more in love with the
French song, he invented «FIP», a radio concept
revolutionary that reverses the balance of power in favour of music.
Thanks to him, the «60 minutes of music per hour» antenna won
other major French cities.

Finally, he became Programme Director of France Inter, a position he
will occupy until 1988. Radio was his life. Goodbye and thank you, Jean
Garretto.
