4. Request my permission
If your authorization request file is ready, you can deposit it:
- At the town hall of your municipality - Find my town hall
- Online by logging in with your FranceConnect credentials on the service-public site (for some communes) - Planning Authorization Requests
The town hall will inform you of the final decision. This decision will be based on exchanges with the departmental unit of architecture and heritage as well as on other departments of the State and department concerned by the project.
The time limits for processing depending on your situation are presented below.

Attention: whatever your preparatory exchanges with the UDAP or other interlocutors, you must submit an application for authorisation of town planning before carrying out your work.
