What is the BABIL call for projects?
On 20 March 2017, the Ministries responsible for Solidarity and Culture reaffirmed, through the protocol for the artistic and cultural awakening of young children, the interest of a common policy aimed at promoting the cultural and artistic awakening of young children.
The DRAC de Normandie, in partnership with the CAF (Caisses d'allocations familiales) of Calvados, Manche, Orne and Seine-Maritime, is supporting the establishment of artist residencies in Normandy for young children.

Objectives of the approach
These residences are intended to:
- To encourage initiatives promoting artistic and cultural awakening within the institutions of reception of young children in order to democratize and to inscribe it in the daily life of the families,
- Give artists the opportunity to work on their creation in an environment dedicated to young children,
- Foster the parent-child relationship through the sharing and discovery of artistic and cultural experiences,
