The Grand Est region is the ninth region to benefit from a complete balance sheet of the payments of its deposits, and which makes it possible to draw up, for all its departments, an inventory of the assets deposited, collected, located, disappeared or found.
This balance sheet shows that more than 80% of the 23,587 properties deposited by the various depository institutions (museums in France, Centre national des arts plastiques, Mobilier national, Centre des monuments nationaux, Manufacture de Sèvres...). However, they are often old recognitions, that is to say made more than 10 years ago and should therefore be renewed.
In all, 3,417 goods remain wanted, for which 877 complaints have been filed: 80 must still be filed with police services by various depositories.
