Tribute to André Genovès

André Genovès left us on February 1 at the age of 70. The
director of «Mesrine», in 1983, with Nicolas Silberg,
imposed in the world of the seventh art as one of the producers the
more talented and inspired of his generation.

His name will remain linked to the production of many of Claude’s films
Chabrol: A party of pleasure, The Red Wedding or The Decad
prodigious… but also by Michel Audiard. Thanks to him
that André Téchiné had been able to shoot Barocco, this film with the beauty
that brings together two of the biggest names in our cinema,
Isabelle Adjani and Gérard Depardieu.

He was among those who allowed the greatest directors to go to
end of their dream.
