Release of Jaafar Panahi
We are pleased that Jafar Panahi has regained his freedom today, a freedom he should never have been deprived of.
We regret again that he was not able to participate in the 63rd Cannes Film Festival as
member of the jury, where he was highly anticipated.
We wish him a speedy resumption of his artistic activities that bring honour to the cinema
iranian.
