This event is organized by the General Delegation for the French Language and the Languages of France for the OPALE network, which brings together French-speaking organizations for language policy and planning.
In the presence of Alain Rey, who will deliver the inaugural conference,
topics as varied as the new territories of writing,
the use of French in advertising, media and cyberspace, slang
contemporary French, the language of wood, without forgetting the role of
dictionaries and enrichment of the French language.
This colloquium open to the public will begin Tuesday 18 October at 9.30 am at the Council
Regional (1, esplanade François Mitterrand, Lyon 2nd) and will continue on the 18th
October afternoon and Wednesday 19 October morning in the great
Light University Lyon II amphitheatre (18, quai Claude Bernard Lyon
7).
