Frédéric Mitterrand, Minister of Culture and Communication, said:
Thursday, January 26, 2012 with Kumari Selja, Minister of
Housing and Poverty Reduction of India came to Paris for
inaugurate the exhibition of paintings by Rabindranath Tagore, at the
Fine Arts of the city of Paris, event that closes the festival
Namaste France.
The two Ministers, wishing to promote knowledge and
mutual understanding of their culture and civilization, to develop
cultural cooperation between France and India, agreed on the
text of a joint declaration, which specifies the main axes of this
cooperation in the fields of museums, heritage and exchanges
for dance and contemporary music.
