Frédéric Mitterrand, Minister of Culture and Communication, welcomes yesterday’s entry into the Greater Paris International Workshop of the City of Paris, the Ile-de-France Region, Paris Métropole and the Association of Mayors of Ile-de-Francede France, who are joining the various state actors.

The creation in February 2010 of the international workshop of the Greater Paris
the extension of the international consultation on the future of the agglomeration
that the Minister of Culture and Communication led to the
request of the President of the Republic.

This opening up to local and regional authorities is an important step towards
the International Workshop of Greater Paris located in the Palais de Tokyo. This one
will now be able to engage new work of reflection on the stakes
shared by the metropolis of the 21st century.

The Minister of Culture and Communication recently reminded the
architects of the ten teams of the international consultation the importance of the
cultural contribution to the constitution of the identity of Greater Paris.
