Franck Riester, deputy mayor of Coulommiers, Alain Chamfort, singer-songwriter, Daniel Colling, director of the Zénith de Paris and the "Printemps de Bourges" festival, Marc Thonon, director of the Atmosphériques label, President of the Société civil des producteurs dephonogrammes en France (SPPF), and Didier Selles, advisor-The Court of Auditors will conduct a reflection on the modernisation of the legal framework for support for the music sector and the resources that the actors in the sector derive from their activities.

After having characterized the needs, they will study in this context the hypothesis of the contribution of the various actors of the digital economy to the financing of the musical creation and the
possibility of creating a support tool dedicated to this sector.
This mission is part of the “Creation and Internet” mission and
13 Online Music Commitments signed recently
by a large part of the profession.
The conclusions of this mission and the resulting proposals
to be provided to the Minister by mid-June 2011.
