Frédéric Mitterrand has appointed the dancer and choreographer, Yuval Pick, as director of the Centre chorégraphique national de Rillieux-la-Pape. In August 2011, he took over the effective direction of the National Choreographic Centre, after the departure of Maguy Marin, whose remarkable work Frédéric Mitterrand praised, who wished to devote himself to other projects.
