Since 2009, Geneviève Gallot, Director of the School, has engaged in a new dynamic to place the school in the circle of the world’s leading art and design schools.

This dynamic has been reflected in the School’s
Master’s degree, through participation in the Research Cluster and
of Higher Education (PRES) «Paris Sciences et Lettres –
Latin Quarter» project leader of the Initiative d'Excellence selected
under the Future Investments Program, which will
new horizons for its students, especially in terms of research.
It enabled the international opening of the School through 70
partnerships with universities and
research abroad, enhanced collaboration with the world of
the company, and the organisation of more than twenty events
(exhibitions, workshops, etc.) in France and abroad.

The Minister commends the work done, under the leadership of Mrs.
Geneviève Gallot, by all school staff, at the service
training of artists and hopes that these advances will be
supported by the mobilization of all around the pedagogical project
of the school which will be the object of a lively dialogue.

The year 2012 will be marked by the welcome of reference creators and
by several major events: an exhibition of
young graduates at the Centquatre (March 2012), an exhibition at the Institute
in Milan as part of the International Furniture Fair of
Milan (April 2012 ) then in Paris during Designer’s Days (June 2012 ) and in
Helsinki on the occasion of events around Helsinki, Capital
