Roundtable hosted by the History Committee on February 8, 2022 at the Ministry of Culture

The ministry wanted to pay tribute to Robert Abirached, former director of Theatre and Entertainment at the Ministry of Culture from 1981 to 1988, who died in July 2021.

Administrator of Culture, Robert Abirached was also a writer, drama critic, professor emeritus of theatre studies at the Université Paris X-Nanterre and president of the Festival des Francophonies de Limoges and the Observatoire des politiques culturelles. A renowned academic, this passionate theatre man was also a committed citizen in the world of associations and culture.

The round table organized by the History Committee brought together experts and witnesses to paint a kaleidoscopic portrait and shed light on the journey, reflection and action of a man who played a major role for the ministry and, later, for theatre and culture.
