Since 1994, the History Committee has heard from individuals who have acted in the areas for which the department responsible for culture is responsible. He has composed about fifteen collections of oral testimonies among which we can mention the work on the role of the elders of France overseas in the creation of the Ministry of Cultural Affairs, the administrators of culture from 1959 to the present day, the creation of the regional commissions for the General Inventory, the Architecture Directorate, and the French cultural policy from 1981 to 1988. This “living material” is one of the sources used by the cultural policy historian. This fund is enriched as and when programs are conducted by the Committee. It is accessible for consultation after express permission from authors and beneficiaries.
