The current term «intermittent» covers different legal realities. On the one hand, the «intermittent» are artists or technicians of the show who are hired under fixed-term employment contract called «usual». Indeed, the rule in France is the contract with indefinite duration. For some professions, it is customary to have recourse to the contract with fixed duration of use. This is the case for technicians and performers.
