Cloister of the Cathedral of Fréjus
The cloister is part of a complex built between the 5th and 14th centuries on the site of the ancient city founded by Julius Caesar in 49 BCE. The cathedral church of Saint-Léonce consists of two aisles next to each other. It has stalls and an altarpiece from the 15th century. The baptistery of the 5th century, with its rampage of ancient columns, has preserved a vat for baptism by immersion. It is one of the oldest in France.
