Chateau de Châteaudun
Overlooking the Loir, the fortress of the Xe century of the Counts of Blois offers a succession of elements of feudal, Gothic and Renaissance architecture: the big tower of the XIIe century, the Dunois wing of the XVecentury and wing Longueville of the XVIe century, with their staircases witnessing the evolution of distribution spaces.
The Holy Chapel of the XVe century preserves fifteen statues and a mural depicting the Last Judgment. The castle also houses a collection of Flemish and French tapestries from the 16th centurye and XVIIe centuries.
