Château d'Assier

Galiot de Genouillac, hero of Marignan, had the castle of Assier built in the 16th^e century, precious testimony of Renaissance architecture in the Quercy. Of the four wings, there remains only the western main building abundantly decorated with carved friezes and emblematic elements.
