DRAC Presentation Brochure
The DRAC Occitanie is pleased to present to you the two new presentation plates of the DRAC, one on its administrative organization, the second on the heritage history of its two sites Montpellier (Hotel de Grave, Hotel de Villarmois) and Toulouse (Hôtel Saint-Jean).
This publication is presented in two versions, one devoted to the administrative organization of the DRAC Occitanie presenting on the one hand, a brief history on the evolution of the DRAC who have just celebrated their 40 years (missions, roles, axes of intervention, reform and fusion of the Drac), the three poles of intervention (heritage and architecture, artistic creation and dissemination, cultural and territorial action), and on the other hand, the main assets of the Occitanie region, some illustrations highlighting the action of the partners throughout the territory and some key figures on the activity of the DRAC.
The second brochure presents the heritage history of the two sites of the DRAC Hotel de Grave and Villarmois for the headquarters of Montpellier evoking the interventions on the building, the successive occupants, its French garden, and the Hotel Saint-Jean for the site of Toulouse, marking the successive periods of the hotel of the Knights of Saint John of Jerusalem, (antiquity, high-middle-ages, middle ages, XVIIe and XVIIIe centuries and contemporary period. ) These two places are protected as historical monuments.
