An educational service deals with relations between the theatre and the school environment. His vocation is to introduce students to contemporary dramatic writing. Playwright workshops and reading committees are conducted by playwrights. They are aimed more particularly at secondary school students who are far from cultural practices. Each workshop offered by the National Theatre of the Hill is built in partnership with the teacher. It can take different orientations (scenography, writing, dramaturgy) according to the students to whom it addresses. Training sessions are offered to teachers. Animated by the artists of the season, they allow teachers to address the issues inherent in contemporary theatre.

In its desire to integrate arts and cultural education in school practices as a fundamental dimension of the training of pupils, the Théâtre National de Chaillot, under agreement with the Rector of the Paris Academy, is a partner of schools and universities in Paris and the Paris region who wish it, in several forms: artistic workshops, classes at PAC, sports/dance section in college, theatrical studies option in preparatory class Hypokhâgne and Khâgne, specialized dance and theatre teaching at the literary baccalaureate, training with IUFM, architecture schools, universities, etc.
