The i-Nov Innovation Competition, funded by the State through the France 2030 Plan and operated by Bpifrance and ADEME, aims to support the accelerated emergence of companies with the potential to become world leaders in their field.
Twice a year, it selects research, development and innovation projects carried out by start-ups and SMEs with total costs of between €1 million and €5 million and a duration of between 12 and 36 months. The project must fit into one of the 4 themes detailed in the specifications (Digital/ Health/ Transport, mobility, cities and sustainable buildings/ Energy, resources and natural environments).
The Cultural and Creative Industries (CCI) were selected as part of the Digital theme of the 11th wave of the competition.
Many technologies are increasingly structuring for the ICC sector: immersive technologies (virtual reality and augmented reality), big data, artificial intelligence, blockchain, holochain, 3D printing. They impact, on the one hand, the creation and production processes and, on the other hand, the dissemination and the relationship with the public. The objective of this theme is to identify and support projects that exploit the potential of these structuring technologies for CCIs to present disruptive solutions that are close to the market and innovative in terms of technology.
