OPENING OF THE CALL FOR PROJECTS "COOPERATION, CREATION AND TERRITORIES"

The call for projects is open until 29 June 2023 at 12.00.

The visual arts network in Nouvelle-Aquitaine STAR, the Direction régionale des Affaires culturelles de Nouvelle-Aquitaine and the Conseil régional de Nouvelle-Aquitaine have co-signed a contract for the visual arts sector.
It aims to foster the emergence of a dynamic sector and cooperation between the various actors in the field of visual arts in the region.
Within the framework of this contract, the State and the Regional Council jointly launch a call for projects in order to encourage the experimentation of cooperative actions in the service of the creation in the field of the plastic and visual arts.

This call, co-built with ASTRE, promotes cooperation between actors in the visual arts and beyond: artistic research, production, dissemination or mediation projects based on one or more territories and their resources.

Objectives of the call for projects:

It aims to contribute to the financing of actions which:

consolidates the artist’s career,

foster cooperation between actors in the visual and visual arts and the wider ecosystem in which they operate,

take into account the specificities of the territory and its resources.

This scheme is intended for the following beneficiaries:

professionals in the visual arts sector (artists, curators, critics, etc.) with a special connection to Nouvelle-Aquitaine (born, resident, graduate or working).

structures, associations, artists' collectives, local authorities, cooperatives, galleries, with headquarters in Nouvelle-Aquitaine

Applications may therefore be submitted by a legal person or by a natural person.

The maximum grant per project is €15,000.

This call for projects contributes to respect for the rights to freedom of creation and expression, access to and participation of persons in cultural life.
