Dedicated to the conservation, experimentation and dissemination of photographic know-how, the International College of Photography offers two annual research-creation grants.
Research Program: The Living Experience
At a time of ecological crisis, it is urgent to overcome the dualism established between humanity and nature in order to rethink our relations with the rest of life. What place can photography occupy in these profound and necessary challenges that break with any anthropocentric vision of the world?
This edition of the research-creation grant of the International College of Photography The aim is to encourage and support approaches which, beyond a strict capture, akin to a form of sampling or even classification, will make photography and its processes an experimental tool capable of offering new visions, images and, ultimately, living experiences.
Two financings of 4,500 euros to accompany two projects where the history of photography and the future of images are intimately linked and where the living heritage of know-how will be celebrated according to the values promoted by the International College of Photography.
