The Métropole d'Aix-Marseille Provence is launching an invitation to tender for the 1% artistic value when creating an intercommunal media library in Istres.
An intercommunal media library will be built in Istres (13). The purpose of the call for tenders is the design, production, distribution and installation of a work of art as part of the construction of this new media library, an operation that meets the "1% artistic" obligation. The amount allocated to the operation is €100,000.
The deadline for the receipt of applications is Tuesday 28 February 2023 at 4pm.
An artistic committee will review the applications received and select 4 applications admitted to submit an offer, each of which is awarded the sum of € 3,500 as a lump sum. The choice will be made according to the suitability and quality of the artistic approach of the artist (or of each member of a group of artists).
