1% artistic linked to the College and High School Program at Barp
With a total surface area of 26,000 m2 and designed by the group of architects Atelier Mazières, Agence Ragueneau-Roux and Agence Arotcharen, the wooden frame buildings will welcome their first high school students in September 2023 and the first middle school students in September 2024.
The program of the 1% artistic aims at the production of a set of artistic projects maintaining sensitive links between them, within the architectural ensemble college-lycée, both inside and outside space.
It is expected that, while respecting the freedom of creation, the design and/or production of artistic projects will be the subject of meetings and exchanges between the artist or the group of artists and the various “users” of the site. (students, teachers, parents, administrative and technical staff of the college and the lycée, potential external users, etc.).
The diversity of productions and/or achievements will be used to promote different media, disciplines and/or techniques.
The total budget allocated to the operation is €370,000 including taxes.
All achievements must be completed by December 31, 2025.
