Within the framework of the "Residence of territory" set up by the Drac Occitanie, the community of communes Sidobre Vals et Plateaux (Tarn) offers an artistic residence on the theme "Music and heritage".
The territory wishes to host a multidisciplinary artistic team taking into account the different aspects of the project and allowing its realization: technique, musical practice (voices, instruments), creation and composition.
The artistic team will have to formulate an original and singular response to its encounter with the territory featuring a sensitive reading (no turnkey formula), and listen to the inhabitants, places, in order to highlight the atypical and unusual side of the territory.
The project should involve partners "music" of the territory (amateurs and professionals), reflecting the different musical practices and styles. The notion of roaming should also be taken into account in order to involve as many people as possible and to reach different audiences.
Artists must be present at least 8 weeks in the territory between June and November 2023
