The use of digital technology has made it possible to renew and increase access to a wide variety of heritage and architectures, particularly at a distance, for archival or library holdings, museum collections, archaeological sites, historical monuments, buildings or movable objects, only for architectural works or graphic arts.

However, these practices are far from being generalized within heritage institutions (archives, libraries, museums, archaeological conservation and study centres, monuments, etc.) even though they could support professionals in their missions and enrich the visitor experience. This call for projects therefore aims to support initiatives to digitise heritage and architecture, whether for preservation purposes or to propose new innovative cultural offerings for a wider audience.

Practical information:

This call for projects was divided into three waves:

  • The first wave closed on December 3, 2021;
  • The second wave closed on May 3, 2022;
  • The third is in progress, for a removal of the files and final closure the December 5, 2022.

The specifications of the call for projects, the timetable and the methods of appraisal are accessible via the Caisse des dépôts et consignations platform, where applications will also be submitted:https://cdcinvestissementsdavenir.achatpublic.com/sdm/ent/gen/ent_detail.do?selected=0&PCSLID=CSL_2021_1BXsudcZKw
