Opening of applications for training and research grants in archaeology, built heritage, movable heritage, general inventory of cultural heritage and historical monuments.

Application deadline: March 11, 2022.

Each year, the Ministry of Culture (Directorate General of Heritage and Architecture: Delegation to Inspection, Research and Innovation) awards training and research grants, to provide financial support for research in the following areas: archaeology, built heritage, movable heritage, General inventory of cultural heritage and historical monuments, and to help young researchers in their action or in the knowledge of their territory. These allowances are not granted according to social criteria: they correspond to funding for research work, open to students in Master 1, Master 2 and Doctorate. Their monthly amount is 915 euros per month and they can be allocated for a period ranging from 1 to 9 months. Ineligible are persons not enrolled in a university course and students who have already been laureates.

The use of these grants is monitored: the work is monitored by the departments that submitted the applications and, after their investigation, the students produce a report.

Applications must be sent, completed and signed, by email to Carole Giovannetti: before March 11, 2022 at the following address: carole.giovannetti@culture.gouv.fr
