Evénement organisé conjointement avec le Couvent des Nonnes qui appartient au Musée national d'Histoire.
Le musée présentera une série unique de peintures sur les différents éclairages de Moscou entre 1883 et 1896 à l'occasion du couronnement de deux empereurs russes: Alexandre III et Nicolai II.
La série inclut 14 paysages nocturne de Moscou, peints par Vassilij Rozanov : vues du Kremlin, de cathédrales et de tours la nuit.
A l'aide d'une vidéo-projection, le conservateur du musée, Dr. Alexander Shkourko, parlera des perspectives du musée dans un futur proche.
Cet été, pour la première fois, le Couvent ouvrira au public la Cathédrale de la Vierge de Smolensk.

Joint events in the State Historical Museum and its Branch "Nunnery Convent".
The Museum shall present for the first time a unique pictorial series devoted to the different illuminations in Moscow between 1883 and 1896 set up on the occasion of the coronation of two Russian emperors: Alexander III and Nikolai II.
The series includes 14 pictorial night landscapes of Moscow by Vassilij Rozanov. The most interesting object of the pictures is the Moscow Kremlin with brightly illuminated cathedrals and towers.
From a video, the museum's Director Dr. Alexander Shkourko will speak about the perspectives of the museum in the nearest future and illustrate his lecture.
This sommer for the first time, the Nunnery Convent will open the Cathedral of the Virgin of Smolensk to the public.

- Un jeu de lumière sera spécialement installé pour mettre en valeur les sculptures. Les visiteurs pourront ainsi se promener à tous les étages du bâtiment. L'idée est de créer une intéraction entre les sculptures, les personnes et la lumière.
- Un concours de photos décernant le meilleur travail effectué sur le thème de la sculpture sera ensuite organisé.

At 20.00 p.m. the artificial illumination, specially designed for illumination of sculptural exhibits, will be switched on . Thanks to it “The Arcade of Angel”, situated in the inner court of the museum , becomes resemble of the theatrical stage, where instead of actors are sculptures. Visitors are allowed to come up to all the floors of the arcade. The main idea of the program, proposed by the museum “Bourganov’s House” is the interaction of sculptural forms and artificial light.
The museum has also announced a competition for the best photo-work, devoted to the sculptural exhibition. Unusual illumination provides to the competitors an opportunity to create an original picture.
