The research laboratories
This section presents the research or analysis laboratories of the public sector, scientific poles in the humanities and materials sciences. Some of these structures house conservation-restoration workshops.
The research laboratories listed here report to the Ministry of Culture, either directly or through partnership agreements. Theframework agreement between the ministry and the CNRS allows since 1992 a collaboration between universities, research units of the CNRS and laboratories of the ministry. Private laboratories can be associated with these structures.
Some laboratories include conservation-restoration professionals, employees of the institution or external service providers benefiting from the technical platform within the framework of contracts.
Present throughout the territory, institutions can be solicited at the time of the study and throughout the intervention. The consultation procedures are available on their website.
