"Profoundly modified in its economy by the place given to the President of the Republic since 1958, the public ceremony is a kind of condensed one that allows us to study the difficulties of the Republican State to redeploy a symbolic policy in the context of the mutations of all kinds that affect French society and the answers it tries to provide. To work on this issue, the seminar brings together political actors, event specialists and researchers from the social sciences. '
