Detail : trompe-l'oeil and inscription
Northern wall
- Detail : trompe l'oeil and inscription -

This inscription, in fine gothic characters on a fake parchment, gives the name of the two painters that have made the decoration of this chapel : Jean Canavesio and Jean Baleison.

The text specifies that Jean Canavesio was a chaplain and that Jean Baleison was from Demonte in the valley of the Stura, in Piedmont.

The inscription does not mention the date of execution of the paintings.

By comparison with the others works of these painters, it can be established around 1470-1475.

Tools lie on the shelf : boxes, brushes and stilettos.
