The farmer-knights'history in the year one thousand, Excavations on the site of Colletière

Not long after the beginning of the second millenium, men settled near Paladru Lake, organized their life on its shores, and then abandoned the place after a thirty years settlement, leaving it to nature to preserve the account of their former presence.

Today, the site of Colletière is the object of a minute archaeological excavation and of a long research having recourse to diverse techniques.

As searchers tend to privilege interdisciplinarity, each of them has written a chapter of the farmer-knights' history in the year one thousand.
