Not long after the beginning of the second millenium, men settled near Paladru Lake, organized their life on its shores, and then abandoned the place after a thirty years settlement, leaving it to nature to preserve the account of their former presence.
		Today, the site of Colletière is the object of a minute archaeological excavation and of a long research having recourse to diverse techniques. As searchers tend to privilege interdisciplinarity, each of them has written a chapter of the farmer-knights' history in the year one thousand.
