It is usually rare to find evidences of defensive fights on sites of settlement, especially weapons which constituted a patrimony of price and bore the symbol of the free man condition. The discoveries of Charavines are thus exceptionally interesting. Weapons, saddlery accessories for a military use, and thin equipment remnants have been brought to light on the whole site.
